National level seminar

A national level seminar is being organized jointly by the Bar Council of India, the Bar Council of India Trust and the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim from November 21 to 23 at Guwahati. According to the chairman of the organizing committee, G.N. Sahewalla, the seminar would deliberate on three vital topics including corporate social responsibility with special reference to environment, globalization and its impact on the legal profession and terrorism and human rights.
The National Seminar is expected to be inaugurated by the Vice-President of India, Hamid Ansari and will be attended by the Law Minister of India, several Judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts, Senior Counsels from Supreme Court and all over India and eminent academicians from all over the country, the release informed.
