Passport cells opened

With a view to ensure speedier functioning of issue and receipt of passport applications and also to expedite the police verification process, the Governor of Nagaland has announced opening of State level passport cell in the Home Department, Nagaland Secretariat, and district level passport cells in all offices of district SPs. Additional chief secretary Lalthara in a notification stated that the cells would work in close coordination with the regional passport office, Guwahati, with immediate effect. The notification also informed those desirous of obtaining passport to avail the services of the two cells for application and submission of passport forms.
