Peace committee on communal harmony

In order to maintain communal harmony to prevent and avoid communal disturbances, riots and in the event of any such disturbances occurring, action to control the same and measures to provide protection and relief to the affected persons in the district, the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Bendangkokba, has constituted a peace committee on communal harmony for Mokokchung district. An official release said the members of the peace committee includes Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung as chairman, SDO (C), Mokokchung as member secretary, SP, Mokokchung as member, EAC (Development), Mokokchung as member, DPRO, Mokokchung member, political assistant to DC, Mokokchung member, president (Mokokchung Division), NPF/DCCI/BJP/JD (U)/RJD – member, president Ao Senden/ Watsu Mongdang/ AKM Mokokchung – member, Takoyaba advocate, Mokokchung – member, M. Bendangnukshi Longkumer, president, MCC & Industries – member, Likashe Sangtam, secretary, ENPU Mokokchung – member, Nikishe Sumi, president, Sumi Union Mokokchung – member and M.R. Rai, president, Gorkha Union Mokokchung – member.
