Association of Power Engineers Nagaland (APEN) has called off its proposed agitation in view of fulfillment of the association’s demand for revocation of “irregular Government order” dated April 26, 2008. APEN president Er. TS Angami and general secretary Er. Tiameren Walling in a press release said the government had Tuesday agreed to fulfill APEN’s demand. It may be mentioned the association had earlier served an ultimatum to the State government to revoke the “seizure of executive powers delegated to the chief engineer (Power).”
