Minister for Forest and Excise, M.C. Konyak accentuated that Nagas should come together as one, and expressed concern over the disunity amongst the various tribes of the state. Addressing the gathering at Village Council Hall Khonoma on October 10, Konyak stated that the tenets of religion be truly practiced.
Lauding the people of Khonoma for their efforts in conserving wildlife, he asked them to spread the message of conservation to the other parts of the state. While stating on the DAN government’s efforts to address the problems faced by the public, Konyak contributed a sum of one lakh towards the construction of Council Hall and Circular Road under the Forest Department Agency.
The Minister was accompanied by political advisor to CM, Z. Lihe; chairman of State Planning Board, Neiba Kronu; advisor ITTE, Vikho-o Yhoshü; Parliamentary secretary, Women Development and Social Welfare, Chotisuh Sazo, and other officials.
