Three members of a family, including husband, wife and son, were injured when a truck from the opposite direction rammed into their car (Maruti Wagon R) on NH-39 between Airport road and Chekiye village gate, Friday around 1 p.m. According to traffic police, the owner of the car identified as Thungzamo Lotha, chairman of Chumukedima Lotha Hoho, along with wife and son were going towards Chumukedima when an oncoming truck, which reportedly developed some mechanical snag, rammed into the car. Police said the driver of the truck immediately rushed the three occup ants of the car to Zion Hospital, where doctors declared the condition of all three were stable.
