Cleanliness drive
DIMAPUR: A cleanliness drive would be conducted at Seiurüzha Zha colony, ward number eight, Chumukedima. In this regard, the chairman of the colony has informed all residents and plot holders to clean their respective areas including approach road and electrical line area on or before October 31.
NVFAA general meet
DIMAPUR: General meeting of Nagaland Veterinary Field Assistants’ Association (NVFAA) has been convened on October 31, 10 a.m at the residence of general secretary S. Tokhivo Swu, Burma Camp, Dimapur. All district members have been informed to send at least five representatives and to submit membership fee of Rs 100/- per head for the current year. Presidents of 11 districts have been requested to attend the meeting.
SQC workshop
KOHIMA: Department of Statistics, Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, has organized a workshop on Statistical Quality Control (SQC) and Operations Research (OR) practices methods and application using the software on October 24 and 25. The workshop is being sponsored by Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. R.B. Acharjya, secretary, Planning and Coordination, Economic and Statistics Department, will inaugurate the workshop on October 24.
RYO fete day
KOHIMA: Rutsa Youth Organization, P. Khel, fete day will be organized on October 26 at Zieke, P. Khel, Kohima. The fete day is being organized in connection to the 35th annual day of RYO, which will be observed on December 28. A release by information and publicity secretary also informed students who have secured more than 80% and with cent percent attendance at school would be awarded on the annual day. The organization has invited all well wishers to be a part of the programme.
NPA general meet
DIMAPUR: Annual general meeting of Nagaland Pensioners Association (NPA) would be held on November 11 and 12, 11 a.m at Town Hall, Zunheboto. Parliamentary secretary, industries and commerce Dr. Nihoshe Yepthomi and Deputy commissioner, Zunheboto , Mesio Tsanglao would attend the programme as chief guest and guest of honour respectively. Further, NPA joint secretary S. Daikho has informed that an executive committee meeting would be held on November 11 at 1.p.m
SRSU meet
DIMAPUR: Meeting of Suruhuto Range Students Union golden jubilee has been convened on November 1, 11 a.m at the residence of Er. Shikato E.E Power at Purana Bazar , Dimapur. All members of Union finance committee have been requested to attend the meeting.
MDCSU affirms
DIMAPUR: Mon District Contractors and Suppliers Union (MDCSU) has affirmed that it belonged to Konyak community under the umbrella of apex body, Eastern Naga Public Organisation (ENPO) and as such there would be no factions and misunderstanding with ENPO. MDCSU made its stand clear that “it is affiliated to Nagaland Contractors Suppliers Union, head office Kohima” and would cooperate with the apex body for socio-economic and educational development.

DIMAPUR: A general meeting of Concern Citizen Forum Zunheboto (CCFZ) has been convened on October 26 at 1 pm at the residence of Viniho Zhimomi, south point, Zunheboto.
