Govt to set up a quality control board

Minister for Health & Family Welfare Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu Tuesday disclosed that the DAN government was contemplating to set up a quality control board in the state.
Addressing the silver jubilee celebration of Porbami Social Club, Kohima, at Naga Heritage Complex, Kisama, the minister said time had come for the people of Nagaland to realize the importance of quality control and to rely on quality control while undertaking construction works.
Azo also urged upon the people to cooperate with the government and assured that government is always ready to deliver the goods to the people. The minister also complimented and lauded the PSCK for attaining 25 years of its existence since its inception in 1983 and hoped that it would march towards a greater height.
In his chairman remark, PSCK chairman Shepo said that the strength of the members at present is about 45 households with the population of around 300. MLA Neiba Kronu, deputy chairman, State Planning Board, Z. Lohe, advisor to Chief Minister, Timikha Koza, former CPO president and several others dignitaries also graced the occasion.
