No closure of shops

In the wake of rumours that shops and business establishments in Dimapur would remain close Monday to protest the latest killing of a businessman, the Chamber of Commerce Dimapur (CCD) has appealed to all business community to open their shops Monday. CCD president Kasheto Yeptho informed that the business community at a meeting held Sunday afternoon decided not to go for closure of shops since police were still investigating into the case. Meanwhile, the businessman Maklisur Rehman who was battling for his life in a private hospital after he was shot by unidentified gunmen Saturday evening near Central Plaza, Dimapur, succumbed to injuries early Sunday morning.
