Race for Miss Peren begins

The count down for Miss Peren 2008 began on October 28, under the stewardship of the Peren District Beauty & Aesthetic Society (PDB&AS). There are nine aspiring beauties vying for the covetable crown. The contestants represent 4 circles under Peren district – Tening, Jalukie, Ngwalwa & Peren. The aspirants are kept under vigil where they are groomed and polished for the great day which will culminate on on November 7 at the Badminton Stadium at Peren Town
The aspiring beauties visited Benreu Tourist Village which is about 28 km and an hour’s drive from Peren town. They were thrilled by the breathtaking beauty and fresh air of the site.
Peren district are keeping their fingers crossed and looking forward to the great day as the PDB&AS makes hectic preparation to declare its queen.
