Seminar for taxi drivers
DIMAPUR: As part of the state government’s objective to promote ‘capacity building’ a two-day seminar for local and zonal taxi drivers of Kohima town would be conducted on November 11 for local taxi drivers and on November 12 for zonal taxi drivers.
Regional transport officer, Mezayi Tetseo has informed that the seminar would be held from 10 a.m to 4 p.m at old MLA hostel complex, Kohima. All taxi drivers of Kohima town have been informed to attend the training.
Superintend of Police Kohima Renchamo Kikon IPS and Deputy Commissioner Kohima Sachopra Vero would grace the function as chief guest respectively on the seminar.
Social work
DIMAPUR: The V. K Area Youth organisation Dimapur would be conducting social work on November 10, 9 a.m at Lions Club, Midland Dimapur. All executives and youth have been requested to attend the social work for preparation of Ahuna festival.
PDSC
DIMAPUR: A meeting of Peren District Sports Council (PDSC) has been convened on November 19, 12 noon at DC office chamber, Peren. All members of the council have been requested to attend the meting to discuss matters pertaining to the development of sports in the district.
VDB Dimapur
DIMAPUR: In connection of the memorandum of understanding signed between government of Nagaland and state Bank of India on October 21 for micro- finance to VDBs for subsequent onward lending to the individuals of the villages, meeting has been convened at town hall, Dimapur on November 11, 11 a,m. All VDB secretaries of Dimapur district villages have been requested to attend the meeting. According to assistant general manager of SBI, dignitaries including DC Dimapur, project director, DRDA Dimapur, APO, micro-finance, DRDA Dimapur and BDOs Dimapur would attend the meeting.
