Lovato Auto gas, a showroom for dealing auto gas conversion of petrol cars and auto rickshaw to liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was inaugurated Tuesday ADC junction, Dimapur.
Proprietor and partners of of Lovato Auto gas Vitoi Sema and Samuel Ninan in a bid to encourage vehicles owners to curb pollution has come up with first of its kind concept in the state -dealing in installation of LPG kit in petrol car.
On the usage of LPG, DMC chairman Khekaho Assumi who inaugurated the showroom said safety measure should be taken into account besides selling and delivering services to the customers. Lauding the proprietors for their initiative, chairman also underlined the importance of advertisement and poster campaigning where concept of auto gas and other related issued could be well highlighted.
Briefing the concept of auto gas, Ninan said LPG motor fuel proven to be safest automotive fuel worldwide was much cheaper than petrol, saving between 45% and 50% on fuel cost as against petrol. Also announcing that customers would be given one month money back guarantee and free service, Ninan said the advantage of running on LPG was that life span of the car engine is increased up to three times because of the dry and gaseous nature of propane and absence of acids and carbon deposits. LPG tank is fixed in the luggage space of your car. The complete installation of the auto LPG kit takes 5 to 6 hours and the car is on the road saving its owner approximately 50 % of their money.
Earlier, at the inaugural programme attended by well wishers Fr. Chacko, parish priest, Holy Cross Dimapur pronounced the invocation.
