”Star Kids 2008” fame culminates

The first ever talent hunt “Star Kids 2008” that rocked Tuensang for quite sometime culminated November 11 at Tuensang town hall with Temjenchila Sangtam, contestant No 20 emerging as the “Star kids 2008.” She overpowered the other five contestants to clinch the title. The young talent walked away with a cash of Rs 15,000 besides acoustic guitar while Ananla Sangtam, contestant No 9 claimed the first runner up title. She also walked home with cash and gift.
Speaking at the occasion as chief guest, ENSF president, Y P. Chillio lauded the efforts made by the organizer to uplift the people by initiating challenging program in the society. He also exhorted the participants to preserve their talent, which he opined shows brightness for the betterment of the society.
Meanwhile, the organizers has lauded district administration, general public and parents for their cooperation towards the success of the programme and expressed hope that they would continue to organize subsequent shows.
The organizer also announced that the winner of the star kids would participate in the coming “Kids for Fame” contest. The competition was organized by the Freelancer, Tuensang.
