A one day seminar on the role of Church leaders in the up-liftment and welfare of the society was held at St. Ignatius Parish, Razeba in Phek District.
The highlights of the seminar included leadership role of Jesus and the early church, historical development of the Church through centuries and contribution of Church in development of human society and need for developing new strategies in the wake of the epidemic -HIV,AIDS. About 75 leaders participated in the programme consisting of Church elders, women leaders and youth leaders.
The Seminar was animated by Rev. Fr. Joe Mariadhas, Director, Shalom Rehabilitation Centre, Chumukedima, and was organized by Rev. Fr. Charles and Fr. Shaji of Razeba Parish.
