Seized contraband destroyed

Destruction committee of excise department with the court permission destroyed contraband seized during October 2007 – October 2008, at state stadium here Tuesday.
Seized contraband including 4003 bottles of IMFL/beer and 273 kg of ganja and 43 grams of brown sugar were destroyed in the presence of representatives from DMC, Naga Council and excise department.
Later, a destruction certificate was signed by board members to be submitted to the directorate of commissioner of excise for reference and record.
