Coinciding with the Hornbill festival, the Department of Art & Culture is organizing the ‘Archives Week’ from December 1-7 at the Heritage Building, Old DC’s Bungalow, Kohima, from 10 a.m to 3 pm. As directed by the National Archives of India, the Archives week will be conducted for the third time, and it is open to the public. Additional director, Art & Culture, Allem Longkumer in a press release informed that the department has arranged original documents like public and private records, historical and geographical maps, and some rare books of private collection etc. to be exhibited. Students, research scholars and prominent readers have been requested to avail the opportunity.
