The music lovers in Dimapur are upbeat and ready to rock to the melodies of “Whitelion”. The two bands, “White-lion”and “Firehouse” performed in what has been termed as the “mother”of all rock concerts in India, at Shillong on December 13.
Earlier Reliance Telecom Limited (RTL) announced a number of interesting offers for its customers on the occasion. Those who take a prepaid and postpaid connection till December 10 were entitled to Free Tickets of the show if they win a lucky draw. Even those who recharge within that period with vouchers of Rs 150 and above may get tickets to the concert by winning the draw. Accordingly RTL announced the winners including the highest recharge winners and distributed FREE tickets to these customers for the show. Over 600 customers became the beneficiaries of this promotional offer.
Bidding also closed for the self autographed guitars by the Bands on December 12 The successful bidders were handed over the same in the presence of the two bands at Shillong.
Speaking on the occasion Sh CR Deka Circle Head, Reliance Telecom (Assam, NE) said that Music has an universal appeal, specially rock music is very popular amongst the youth of the North-East. “With the kind ethnic diversity, music plays a very important role in unifying the region. It is our endeavor to spread the message of universal Love and Peace across the region, creating a conducive atmosphere for growth & economic prosperity.” said Sh Deka.
The company also felicitated both bands at Tripura castle, Shillong, in presence of several music buffs , photojournalists and others.
