One business man, identified as Kajal Majumdar (32) son of Arun Majumdar was seriously injured after unidentified gunmen shot him at point blank range in his shop at West Yard colony, here Thursday morning. According to the police, two unidentified gunmen entered the pharmacy (New Medicine House) at around 10:30 am and demanded money. When the victim expressed inability to pay up, one of them opened fire with a revolver injuring the victim on the right thigh. Later the victim was rush to metro hospital. Police also recovered one 7.65 mm empty case from the site.
