Officiating IGAR (North), Brigadier Bhupinder Singh and all ranks of Assam Rifles have extended warm greetings to the Chakesang people on the occasion of “Suhkruhnye” festival. “We sincerely pray to the Almighty to keep a benign eye on the Chakesangs and the people of Nagaland to bring about peace, prosperity and tranquility in the days to come” a defence release stated. The IGAR (N) wished the Chakesang tribe to prosper in all spheres and endeavour to push towards everlasting peace in the region.
