AR’s first ARTC inaugurated

The first Anti Retro-viral Therapy (ART) centre of central para-military forces at Assam Rifles composite hospital, Shokhuvi, Dimapur, was inaugurated by Dr. Kulbhushan, ADG (Medical Services), central para-military forces, New Delhi, under the HIV action plan of ministry of home affairs, GOI, on February 14.
According to a defence release, after inauguration of the centre, workshop on sensitization and increasing awareness among health care providers were organized in which Dr. Kulbhushan, Dr. Victoria, Medical Officer, ART centre, district hospital, Dimapur, and Wapang, vice-president, Dimapur Network of Positive People, gave lectures on various topics.
The release also said chief guest and delegates were welcomed by Dr. Chandra Bhal, Medical Superintendent, ARCM, while vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. KD Sharma, Medical Director, Assam Rifles.
Medical officers and paramedical staff from the army, CRPF and Assam Rifles participated in the workshop.
