One person succumbed to his injuries in a hospital after he was hit by a truck on Wednesday at around 2.30 pm near KMC dumping site. Traffic police sources said the victim, identified as Mashon, was hit by the empty LPG laden Truck (NL-01A -7649), proceeding to Dimapur, while he was repairing another Truck on the Highway. The driver and the handyman fled after the incident. Police has taken the Truck into its custody.
