The Wokha DCC joint meeting was held on March 20 the office of the WDCC.
The meeting was attended by the senior Party leaders and PCC members E.T. Ezung Ex. MLA, Yankithung Yanthan Ex. MLA, Mhao lotha Ex. MLA, Sulanthung Lotha Ex. MLA and Mhonlumo kikon Ex. Candidate beside Office Bearers and Executives of DCC/ACCC/DMCC/DYC/NSUI/ and other Frontal organization.
The meeting was presided by Tsenthungo Ngullie Vice President DCC Wokha C. Renponthung Ezung President DCC delivered the meeting and welcomed Sulanthung Lotha Ex. MLA and former President NCP Nagaland and Mhonlumo Kikon Ex. Candidate along with their supporters.
Yakithung Yanthan Ex. MLA in his address to the Dirstrict Congress party workers, stressed on the party working system, and assured the party workers that he has full confidence that UPA will come to power and things will change in our state.
Mhao Lotha in his address, urged the parties to patch up for the upliftment of the party at these situation and that voters select the best candidate for the forth coming election for the benefit of the Nagas.
E. T. Ezung Ex. MLA in his speech advised the party workers to be sincere and consult the senior party leaders before any important decision is made. He also exhorted on the campaign strategies for the forth coming election Sulanthung Lotha Ex. MLA in his address made clear about his homecoming in the party. He encouraged the party workers that there will be no division in the party and that strengthening and unity of the party will surely take the party to the path of victory.
Mhonlumo Kikon Ex. Candidate joined the party after a deliberate consultation with the senior congress leaders. He also assured the party workers that he will bring a good result for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election with the guidance and advice from the senior leaders.
The meeting had detail discussion on the pros and cons for the forth coming Lok Sabha Election. The party workers also affirmed for better coordination, and appealed to the voters to vote for the Congress candidate. After taking all views and problems aired by the party officials and workers in the district, the meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Samuel Ezung, vice president DCC Wokha.
