Election Commissioner, Dr. S.Y. Quraishi is scheduled to visit the state on April 10 to review the electoral preparations in the state. Dr. Quraishi would be accompanied by Deputy Election Commissioner, Dr. Alok Shukla, according to the CEO, Nagaland, C.J. Ponraj.
During his visit, the Election Commissioner would hold a series of meeting at the Police Guest House, Chümukedima from 9:30 a.m onwards. The EC is also expected to meet representatives of political parties, besides the Chief Secretary, DGP and Home Secretary of Nagaland.
The Election Commissioner would also hold separate meeting with Divisional Commissioner, Kohima, Deputy Commissioners and IGs of Kohima and Dimapur.
