The first ever Eastern Icon 0.1 first public voting round which was held on July 9 at Kiphire will be closed on August 15, at 5pm. Counting of votes starts August 16 and results would be declared on August 17 at 2pm.
Horiba Sangtam, President, EE, has requested all concerned to report either through email at eastplor@yahoo.co.in or SMS at 9436619687, 9436810854 with full details of the contestant numbers’ and votes scored. Following this round would be the elimination round based on public voting and judge’s point.
Second round for qualified contestants would be held on August 26 at Soul Speak Studio Duncan Bosti Dimapur at 10am therefore contestants have been requested to reach Dimapur on or before August 25.
The release also added that the organizers would be providing free fooding and lodging 24hrs ahead of the scheduled date along with traveling allowances.
It further informed that registration for ‘band category’ was also open for interested group/band for which the contest would be held coinciding with the grand finale of the Eastern Icon 0.1
