: Bharti Airtel has completed its service coverage to all the eleven districts of the state with the launching of its service in Kiphire on Friday. Aitel Kiphire was formally launched by Yantsawo Lotha, Deputy Commissioner Kiphire in the presence of several dignitaries at the launching function held at Kiphire.
Bharti Airtel, India’s leading mobile service provider in the last few years of its operations in Nagaland has reached out to the remotest areas by covering all the districts of Nagaland with a network over 160 sites and acquired over 2 lakh mobile customers. With over a hundred Airtel Service Centres in Nagaland, Airtel has provided telecommunication network and improved the economic development of the remotest corners of the State.
“Airtel is not only serving customers in Nagaland by providing a superior telecommunication network, but is closely associated with the Naga people in promoting their culture as well. In Nagaland Airtel has been promoting State level Football team and has promoted local talent through supporting Fashion Shows at which Airtel customers participation has also been there. Airtel for two consecutive year held drawing competitions across the North East for children, the theme for which was Environment – “Clean North East, Green North East,” on the Children’s Day, where children from across Nagaland participated, the released added.
