The newly constructed Helipad at the scenic beauty Dzükou Valley is all set to undergo trial landing on Monday morning next. According to sources, the trial landing will be held at around 9 a.m. on Monday by Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited. After the trial landing, state chief minister Neiphiu Rio is also likely to take a trip to inspect the Helipad before it is formally inaugurated, which is expected soon.
The Helipad was constructed on a hilltop about some 20 minute walking distanced above the Dzükou valley. It was learnt that the Helipad was hurriedly constructed by a contractor with much difficulties due to transportation. It was also reported that labour charge for manual transportation of a Cement bag alone cost Rs.500.
