Taking serious note over Manipur state imposition of 144 CrPC at Mao Naga area, banning Nagas from traveling across the interstate political boundary and reports of harassment meted out to traveling passengers by Manipur police personnel, the Angami Public Organization (APO) has demanded immediate removal of Manipuri trucks stranded under its landed jurisdiction particularly at Khuzama village. APO press secretary, Medo Yhokha informed that the step was necessitated for convenient cohabitation in general interest and further cautioned that the organization would not be accountable for any ‘untoward incident’ regarding this issue.
