Ultimatum served to youth resource dept.

Four wards of Mon town viz, Zaklom, Wagim, Tanlao and Shamyu have issued final ultimatum to youth resource department to vacate the site allotted for construction of Konyak Baptist Church, Mon (KBCM) within fifteen days with effect from May 17.
A press statement issued by KBCM-Newsite fellowship management committee members Chingjun. K and A. Yuswang. K stated that site permit for KBCM-Newsite fellowship was issued in the year 2001, against the defunct and unused youth hall building belonging to youth resource department.
However, though the project to construct KBCM-Newsite fellowship building was approved with the consent of chief minister and entire legislators of Mon town including the four wards, the department had allegedly not vacated the allotted site till date defying its repeated requested and ultimatum served to them.
Stating that the department had bluntly ignored to its repeated requests, public of the four wards said that it would not be held responsible for any untoward incident that may arise out of the issue.
