Darogapathar rape

After more than a year of hearings, the judgment for the March 25,2009 Darogapathar gang rape case was delivered on Monday, with all three accused convicted under relevant sections of the law under which they were booked. However, according to sources the final quantum of punishment will be decided later. It may be noted two of the accused were apprehended and awarded capital punishment by the NSCN (I-M).
