A total of 389 bottles of assorted IMFL and 104 packet gutkhas were seized during a joint search conducted by Diphupar Naga Students’ Union and its sub-units, Diphupar Naga Youth Organization and Diphupar Women Welfare Society within Dipuphar village jurisdiction during the past few days.
Most of the seized IMFL and gutkhas were recovered from a government vehicle belonging to a senior officer from Dimapur. According to some youth leaders, the consignment seized from the government vehicle was meant for a shop CM bazaar located at 4th mile.
Meanwhile, police sources said they were yet to receive report about the seizure from the organizations.
