Owing to an emergency works being carried out by contractors for restoration of damaged road on Peducha NH-39 to NH-61 (Tsiese Basa) following heavy landslides and erosion, the road stretch would be temporarily closed down for vehicular traffic on August 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This was to facilitate immediate restoration of works with manpower and heavy machineries, executive engineer PWD (R&B) construction division Chiephobozou said. The department has urged the public to bear with the inconveniences.
