Special event organised for widows, widower

Rengma Baptist Church Kohima had organized a special event for widows, widower and senior citizens for the first time at its Church.
Altogether 60 widows and widowers participated in the programme which included various activities such as presentation of skit, Bible recitation and special music during the service by youth & children department.
The programme was aimed to express Church solidarity with life condition of widows and widowers and to encourage them to assert their rightful place in the life and work of the Church, and to affirm Biblical commitment of congregation in caring and sharing the needs of widows.
As a sign of their recognition, the Church set aside a special time of prayer for the widows and special gifts were presented to them.
