Meeting of Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) was held on October 7 at deputy commissioner’s conference hall, under the chairmanship of deputy commissioner Mokokchung, Lithrongla G. Chishi.
DIO, Temsuwathi briefed the members on application of Geographic Information System (GIS). After reviewing the minutes of last DPDB meeting, the DC instructed all the heads of department to finalize pension related cases of their respective department before October 30 as per directive from state government. With regard to application for registration of Luyong Agri seed farm SHG, the chairman also directed EAC Alongkima to verify and recommend for necessary action.
According to an official bulletin, during the discussion hour, members from agri department highlighted on usage and awareness of pesticides for rodent management in the district.
E.E. (R&B) also informed all departments related to road development in the district to submit road map with GPS input under their respective establishment for publication of total road map of Nagaland.
