Superintendent of police Kohima Tuesday said that police would be checking all vehicles including VIP vehicles to avoid vehicle theft. Stating that many government vehicles were moving at night on ‘unofficial duty’, which could give advantage to miscreants, SP Kohima has directed all vehicle drivers and owners to have the necessary vehicles documents at hand for verification.
Meanwhile, in view of the eight-session of the 11th Nagaland Legislative Assembly scheduled to commence from December 9 at Kohima, the SP also issued traffic regulations, comprising of bus/ truck/ taxi parking and road diversions, to be enforced in and around Kohima town from December 9 until the assembly session concluded.
