A Mahindra Bolero (NL-10 7074) attached with a senior state government official crashed into a ‘stationary truck’ on Monday night along NH 29, Dimapur, an eyewitness said. According to sources, five occupants were travelling in the Bolero, of which four were identified as Imtimoa (14), Molung (10), Bendangsunep (32) and Salang (7). However, Imtimoa and Mulong were admitted to Zion Hospital’s ICU as their condition was stated to be critical. The identity of the fifth occupant could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. One of the minor seated at the back seat had a miraculous escape as the vehicle was badly smashed.
An eyewitness said that the Bolero rolled thrice due to the impact. (Staff Reporter)
