SP Kma on vehicle theft

To ensure effective check on vehicle theft in the state capital, the SP Kohima Tuesday appealed to vehicle owners, particularly government officials, to utilize the service of their drivers so that they could watch over vehicles. Stating this in a press note issued here, the SP disclosed that such measure was necessary as most vehicles that were stolen in the previous year were unattended private vehicles and government vehicles, mostly of Bolero and Scorpio made, while on non-official social duties. The SP urged the general public for cooperation and support towards this step as a measure to check on car lifting at Kohima.
