NSS-unit of Patkai Christian College (PCC) under the guidance of NSS programme officer Bendangnungsang organized a blood donation camp on February 5 at the college Health Clinic Centre.
District hospital Dimapur Blood Bank in-charge MO Dr. Temsu who was the resource person, exhorted NSS volunteers by giving a brief preface on the significance of blood donation and its provisions on saving lives.
He opined that, in terms of nobility (blood donation), Patkai NSS-unit was well ahead and welcomed the excellent work done for the people in need.
38 volunteers donated blood and received certificates, caps and badges from the medical team of district hospital. The programme officer has thanked all the donors, the medical team lead by Dr. Temsu and four other technicians of district hospital Dimapur for making the event successful.
