After two-day, in connection with the looting at Gopal Birck Kiln at Bamunpukhuri by unidentified gunmen, Dimapur police on Thursday apprehended one suspect identified as Ghutoka Sumi. According to a faxed statement by addl SP and PRO Dimapur police, a silver Santro car (AS 01A-7784) allegedly used during the loot was also seized. It may be mentioned that an unidentified gunmen on Tuesday took hold of the owner of Gopal Birck Kiln at Bamunpukhuri and looted cash worth Rs. 62,000. The suspect who is in police custody disclosed that five of them committed the crime including one 2nd Lt. Keyishe Sumi of NSCN (K), the PRO release stated. Efforts are on to nab the other remaining accused soon, the statement said.
