Leden government primary school new building, Ungma village constructed under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme during the year 2010-11 was inaugurated on February 4. The school building was formally inaugurated by DIS, Mokokchung, Yarang pongener. In his speech, Yarang said setting up new government primary school was aimed at covering all children under compulsory education and assured assistance towards the school.
The inaugural function was attended by Ungma village council chairman, Imolemba Jamir, council members, village education committee chairman, I Tako Jamir and teachers and students.
