Referring to its earlier representation to the chief secretary, the Educated Unemployed Union Nagaland (EUUN) has appealed the state government to implement Employment Exchanges (EE) Act 1959. The union questioned as to why government was not empowering the employment and craft department to perform its functions as per the Act. EUUN stated that if the government failed to implement the act in the interest of the “next generation”, then it would be compelled to take its own course of action and would not be held responsible.
