: Loyola School, Jakhama organized a seminar on climate change for the teachers of Jakhama and neighbouring village area on March 28 at its school premises. Teachers from 10 schools participated in the seminar.
The resource person was Ranjan K Baruah, social activist and chief convener of Youth alliance of Climate from Guwahati who dealt on various issues related to climate change. Apart from presentation on the topic, documentary screening related to global warming was shown to participants for easy understating on the topic.
Participating teachers also designed activities and planning for campus climate activities which they are planning through the eco clubs and climate clubs.
The programme was sponsored by NESRC.
