Creative discipleship training school 2011 of YWAM, Lonavala (Maharashtra) would be organizing ‘Arts Gathering’ 2011 in Kohima on April 8 and 9 at State Academy Hall. The registration (INR 300) would start at 10am on April 8 which include workshop, meals and study material for two days. The focus of the event would be “Communicating God’s heart through art”.
The main resource person Sarah Jose (USA) would be speaking on the creator, the source and the artist. Franziska Escher (Switzerland) would lead improvisation workshop and Pauline Warjri (Shillong), Howard Irwinstone, Hunduo (Manipur), Ernesto Barbosa Molina (Bolivia) and Kate Hall (UK) would be leading workshops on their respective fields. Gugs Chishi, James Swu, Theja Maru, Lipok Tzudir and Kethosher would also be speaking to encourage artists.
Worship would be led by Ajay and team, Pune followed by performances by bands such as O.F.F., Dementia, Divine Connection, Tali Angh, Mhasi bands, Pauline and Nissi (Shillong), Alo Wanth, Tia Sunep and Alobo. Workshops on voice, sound engineering, song writing and worship, prophetic improvisation, creative designing, creative dancing and creative photography, jazz and neoclassical to be performed by Pauline, Nissi and Kanen on April 8.
