Officially marking their debut, the Northeast India Academy of Performing Arts (NIAPA) will be organising a show on the theme ‘Renaissance’ at Niathu Resort on Friday evening. Based on theme, the show indicating the rebirth of Naga tradition and culture will try to bring about a revolution within the Naga fashion by showcasing the talents nurtured by the academy.
Choreographed by Ajay Bisht, ‘Renaissance’ will be witnessing international models from Paris, New York, Ukraine and Russia besides former beauty pageants winners like Miss India Tourism International, Miss FTV India, and face of L’Oreal Paris (America) sashaying down the ramp.
Established by Reflorescence society, NIAPA has been set up to capitalize on the rich and diverse culture of the region and create opportunity and youth empowerment. The academy based at NE Agri Expo site, will focus on making better opportunities by equipping the students with skills in fashion styling, hair styling, make-up art, modelling and beauty.
After undergoing a stringent test, the applicants will be trained by a group of professional instructors who are the best within the industry.
Assuring 100 percent job placement through their branch offices in Delhi and New York, the academy strives to provide outstanding education and empowerment to stay ahead of their client’s expectations and accordance to the needs and demands of the industry.
Meanwhile, the academy’s official website and other web sources will also be launched during the show.
Chief minister Neiphiu Rio will grace the show as chief guest.
