HSLC/HSSLC RESULTS OUT

60.56% pass HSLC; 68.31% (HSSLC-Arts),72.92% (Com), 83.18% (Sc)

A total of  20,023 candidates  appeared for the HSLC examination 2011 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), of which 12,125 (60.56 %) were declared qualified. Out of the 9,938 males who appeared,  6,241 (62.80%) were qualified while out of 10,085 females who appeared, 5884 (58.34%) were qualified.
Yimkum I Ozukum of  St.Mary’s  Hr.Sec.School, Padampukhuri  secured highest aggregate marks with 569 (94.83%)  Satish Kumar Agarwal  of  S.D.Jain Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur  with 567 marks (94.50%) was next. Harsh Kumar Jha of Ministers’ Hill Baptist H.S.S, Kohima was in third place with 563   marks (93.83% ) (see supplement)
In the HSSLC examination  out of the 10,491 candidates appeared  7,502 (71.51%) passed.
In HSSLC(Arts) out of 7478 candidates, 5108(68.31%)passed; in Commerce, out of 1093 who appeared 797(72.92%)passed; in science out of 1920 appeared out of which 1597(83.18%)passed.
In the HSSLC (Arts), Bendangrenla  S  Longkumer of  Patkai Hr.Sec.School, Chumukedima with 498  marks (83.00%) secured highest aggregate marks;  in Commerce stream, Chonbeni Oren Patton of Christian Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur  secured the highest marks  with 507 (84.50%).  In the Science stream Rohit  Pathak of Pranab Vidyapith HSS, Dimapur  aggregated 531 marks for the highest position (88.50%)
