Non-locals registration drive

In compliance with guidelines issues by ENSF, the Phom Students Conference (PSC) would conduct non-local registration drive under Longleng district jurisdiction.
On May 13 and 14 registration drive would be held at Longleng district headquarter and Buranamsang on May 16 and 17. The decision to undertake the drive was taken during the conference’s executive meeting held on April 27, stated PSC. PSC also informed all non-locals under Longleng district to submit all documents proof, ILP, PRC in a photocopy attested by a gazetted officer along with two recent stamp sized photograph.
The conference added that a caption fee of `200 will be charged for fresh applicants, while `100 will be charged for renewal, `50 for provisional ID card (less than 6 months), `100 for provisional ID (more than 6 months but less than 1 year), `50 for children below the age of 14 years (only registration), and `500 (excluding fees) for those failing to register or renew during the given duration without any valid reason. The conference further urged the district administration, police, tribal councils and general public to extend cooperation during the drive.
