
Deputy director, veterinary & animal husbandry, government of Nagaland, Dr. Viral Yore exhorted the Kidima Students’ Union freshers’ as guest speaker on Saturday May 7 in Kidima Community Hall, Kohima.
Dr. Viral Yore while exhorting the students and parents on the topic “Responsibility of Parents and Students” said students who passed in the HSLC examination were a blessing for the village and called upon parents to love and care for their children.
He also asked the students to respect and honour their parents and urged them to work hard with consistence.
Resource persons were Dr. Kedise Pucho, Principal, Phek, SIRD and Dr. Keduzol Ltu, assistant project officer, department veterinary and animal husbandry who spoke on the topic “Arts as a Subject and its Scope’ and ‘Science as a Subject and its Scope” respectively.
KSU president in his welcome address challenged the students to work hard in their studies with determination and sincerity to become successful persons in their life.
The informal interaction session was held after the formal programme with Vision Cell of Kidima village with career guidance and personality development as the main objective.
A total number of 50 students qualified in the HSLC examination, out of which, 22 students were female and 28 students were male.
Vizokhonu Pucho got a distinction in English and Agriculture, Kelevinu Cicelia Soleho in Mathematics, Nosazonu Kintso in Environmental Education and Visevoto Vitso in English
