Hollywood’s most famous bachelorette Jennifer Aniston is receiving dating advice from her own father.
John Aniston, whose real name is Yannis Anastassakis, believes his 42-year-old movie star daughter would be better off with a Greek man.
‘Greek men are sexier and make better boyfriends,’ joked the veteran actor to People magazine at an event over the weekend.
When asked if he would like to see Jen settle down with a Greek guy the 77-year-old responded: ‘Yes, I would be glad about that,’ but then specified that it would have to be a ‘good Greek man.’
John has starred as Victor Kiriakis in the long-running NBC sop opera Days Of Our Lives and has always had a great relationship with his famous daughter, unlike the stars mother Nancy Dow.
Aniston revealed that her divorce prompted her to reach out to her mother, from whom she was estranged for nearly a decade.
They initially became estranged when Nancy spoke about her daughter on a television show and later wrote a book entitled, From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir (1999)
Former Friends star Jennifer has has a string of high profile relationships since splitting from husband Brad Pitt back in 2005, including singer John Mayer, actors Vince Vaughn and Bradley Cooper and model Paul Sculfor.
However if she was interested in making her next conquest of Greek heritage there are several celebrity candidates including Billy Zane, Zack Galifinakis or magician Criss Angel.
