The identity of the woman who had a child fathered by Arnold Schwarzenegger 10 years ago has been revealed.
She is Mildred Patricia Baena (Patty), who worked as a housekeeper/assistant for Schwarzenegger’s family for more than 20 years.
Her jobs included cleaning, laundry, cooking and other chores, reports TMZ.
According to the sources, in the late 90’s Baena began to “pursue Arnold.”
When she became pregnant, she didn’t tell Schwarzenegger that he was the father.
The star didn’t learn he was the daddy until the boy was a toddler.
Baena-who made 1,200 dollars a week-was treated well by Schwarzenegger once he found out. Sources said that he was always “generous.”
Baena-who has recently retired-now lives in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, several hours outside of L.A. with the boy and her 3 other kids.
Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s estranged wife Maria Shriver has revealed that she is heartbroken over revelations that her actor hubby of 25 years fathered a love child with a member of their household staff 10 years ago.
The former Governor of California made the bombshell admission a week after the couple announced they had separated after 25 years of marriage.
The 63-year-old only told his wife about the child after he left office in January – leading to the couple’s split.
It is believed the member of staff in question, who has not be named, retired in January after worked for the Schwarzenegger family for more than 20 years.
“This is a painful and heartbreaking time,” the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
“As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment,” she added.
In a statement released to the LA Times, Schwarzenegger said: “After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago”.
“I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family”.
“There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused”.
“I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry”.
“I ask that the media respect my wife and children through this extremely difficult time. While I deserve your attention and criticism, my family does not,” the statement added.
