Rio fetes Gogoi, Chandy

Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio has congratulated Tarun Gogoi and Oommen Chandy on their assumption of the office of the chief minister of Assam and Kerela respectively. In a letter to Gogoi, the chief minister said he was confident that the former would continue to work tirelessly for the upliftment of sections of people. “My government looks forward to your able leadership in jointly ushering development, progress, unity and understanding in the North Eastern region in close collaboration with all other state governments and the government of India,” said Rio said further wished Gogoi all success in his endeavours. Also, in a separate letter to Chandy, the chief minister said: “I am confident that you will tirelessly work for the upliftment of all sections of the people”, while also wished all success in his future endeavours.
