Hundreds of people mostly women on Friday took part in the protest rally against the attempted rape of a minor girl (10 years) allegedly by one Yanremo.
People from different colonies converged at the Police point and further proceed to the DC’s office where a representation was submitted to the District & Session Judge, Wokha. The rally was organised by Kyong Eloe Hoho (KEH) in coordination with Kyong Hoho and Kyong Students’ Union. According to DIPR, during the rally, all business establishments were closed as per the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Wokha.
